Archie, our 6 year old flat coat retriever, was taken ill just before Christmas last year. We have always carried pet insurance and understood its value from growing up in the United Kingdom where it seems to be more common place, but like anything you don't fully appreciate it until you have to use it. Archie's condition was sudden and required immediate emergency care. Knowing that we had the financial back up from Ellenco helped us plan Archie's treatment at a very busy and stressful time. Archie made a full recovery in time to enjoy his Christmas holidays in Central Otago which also made for some very happy children. My husband and I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ellenco and all staff for their prompt handling and payment of our claim. Finding Roo in such a bad condition was heartbreaking for both of us: having the insurance plan helped with our worries. I do not know how we could have managed to pay for the required surgery without it.
Roo and our other pets are a big part of our lives: this has been a long, hard road which we are not at the end of yet. Roo is making very good progress and has been an exceptionally good patient. For one who is normally full of energy to be restricted for so long, is very difficult both for her and us.
Throughout the years that our dogs have been insured with Ellenco, we have always found the staff to be very helpful and we have never had any difficulty with any claims made.
Once again, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for taking away some of the stress and worries so we could concentrate on Roo and restoring her to fitness, without having to worry about bills.

RE: Policy for Flyn & Ryan
We just want to send a little note to say a huge thank you for everything the team at Ellenco do, especially more recently with our claim for Flyn which, as you know, was a rather large one.
We both feel that the policy we took out on Flyn and Khan has been very worthwhile. We would, and do, recommend to any pet owner that it is a great peace of mind to have at an affordable price.
We don't have any financial worry of how to afford medical attention for both our boys. This was really important to us with the recent claim for Flyn. Having a policy for Flyn meant that all the financial stress was taken away, especially at the time when we didn't really need the added stress. We have always found the Ellenco team to be friendly, helpful and understanding and are prompt when payment is required on a claim. Again thank you for everything.
